A production begins more than a year before the first performance. A director submits a proposal to the Board of Directors for consideration. If selected they will begin planning! Six to ten weeks before opening night auditions will be held for performers and applications gathered for backstage crew. The next few weeks are filled with practices, set building, and tech rehearsals. Performances typically run for two weeks (three for a musical), with evening performances Thursday through Saturday and a matinee on Sunday.
